Start from the ends and work your way up when detangling your hair. Use a wide-toothed comb or a brush specifically designed for extensions to avoid unnecessary breakage or damage.

We recommend using Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner or Bedhead Resurrection Shampoo and Conditioner by TIGI for your hair extensions. Avoid using oil or wax-based shampoos or conditioners, such as Pantene, Suave, V05, etc. Also, steer clear of products with sulfates as they can strip the hair and cause damage.

Apply a leave-in conditioner or hair serum to keep your extensions hydrated and tangle-free. However, we do not recommend using hair mousse, leave-in conditioners, or hair oils like peppermint oil, tea tree oil, castor oil, etc., as they may weigh down or damage the extensions.

Use heat styling tools on low to medium heat settings and always apply a heat protectant spray before using any hot tools. Excessive heat can damage the hair, so be mindful and use heat styling sparingly.

Before sleeping, braid or tie your hair extensions in a loose ponytail to prevent tangling. You can also use a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction and maintain the integrity of your extensions.

Trim your extensions periodically to eliminate split ends and keep them looking fresh. Consult with a professional stylist for any maintenance needs, such as repositioning or reinstallation.

When not wearing your extensions, store them in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a hair extension hanger or a dedicated storage case to keep them tangle-free and in optimal condition.
